The Oklahoma Senior Journal Attended and handed out the OSJ Magazine at The Oklahoma City Home and Garden Show, Saturday - January 21, 2012 at the State Fair Grounds. What a Great Turn out and we Loved being able to provide you with a hand to hand distribution of the OSJ Magazine at such an Fun & Informative OKC Event!

The OSJ took part in the "Senior Day" at the Great State Fair of Oklahoma Wednesday September 21, 2011. The OSJ was on hand at the Silver Sneakers Booth, The Alzheimer's Association Booth and the Health Departments Booth. A Every Single OSJ was taken from all three booths.

The OSJ attended and handed out the Oklahoma Senior Journal at the 1st Annual Live Racing 2011 Networking Social. benefiting the Regional Food Bank at Remington Park Thursday night September 22 from 6:00 to 8 P.M. in the Eclipses Suite. We helped raise money for a worthy cause and the OSJ was the only publication handed out beside your Tips Racing sheets.

The Oklahoma Senior Journal attend the Dr. Ed Shadid "Standing Up For Oklahoma City" Community Meeting. Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. September 6, 2011 at the OKC Marriott Hotel in the Grand Ballroom, 3233 N.W. Expressway. The OSJ was the only Public Publication handed out at the event. We handed out the OSJ till we ran out of them at a count of over 250!!! Dr. Ed Shadid Spoke along with our City Planning Director, Police Chief, City Manager, Fire Chief, Public Works Director, Public Transportation Director, Parking Director and our Utilities Director. It was Standing Room only in the Grand Ball Room! Another Great Event that the OSJ attended and personally handed out the OSJ to the attendees.

The Oklahoma Senior Journal was invited to attend the 2011 Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Symposium Sponsored by the State Chamber of Oklahoma on August 23 and 24 at the Midwest City Sheraton in the Reed Center. The OSJ will be on hand handing out complementary OSJ Magazines to over 2500 Greater Oklahoma Business owners and their employees, for both days of the event. The Oklahoma Senior Journal was the only publication invited to hand out the only "Senior" Resource Magazine in our State!

The Oklahoma Senior Journal was the featured and only "Senior" Publication at the Alzheimer's Caregivers Conference on July 28, 2011 at the Church of the Servant, handing out the OSJ to every person attending and involved. We had a fantastic turn out of: Oklahoma Professionals, Caregivers, Volunteers and the 50-Plus Community. The information provide and the keynote Speaker Besty Broyles Arnold, the daughter of Coach Frank Broyles, author of A Coaches Hand Book to Alzheimer's was one of the best representations I have ever been involved in!

The OSJ handed out The OSJ Magazine at Southpark Care and Rehabilitation Centers, 31st Anniversary Community Reunion and Celebration on July 1st, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. located at: 5725 South Ross in South OKC just off of South May Ave. Besides all the Fun, Entertainment, Games and Full Refreshments, the OSJ got to SIGN a huge Potation (over 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide) going straight to Washington D.C. to our Nations Senators to promote the income of moneys delegated to "Senior" Care Communities. YEA, Oklahoma!

June 24, 2011 - FREE Healthy Living Event - YMCA hosted "SENIOR FUN DAY" The Event included: FREE LUNCH, Educational and Healthful Guest Speakers, ZUMBA Gold Presentations, Yoga Demonstrations, Free T-shirts for the First 100 Seniors, Health Screenings, SilverSneakers Fitness Program, Multipliable Raffled Door Prizes & Give-A-Ways, Many Senior related Vendor Booths with Take Away Information! The OSJ was the ONLY publication that was handed out at this very popularly attended Event by our Oklahoma "Seniors" The OSJ also had over 15 vendor booth spaces with OSJ Advertiser/Clients at this event and were able to get our Advertisers/ Clients their booths spaces for FREE!!! The OSJ will Market you and your business in many ways through out you and your business relationship with the OSJ!

March 31, 2011 - Mustang Connections Luncheon, Commerce Bank, 11:30am to 1:00pm, handed out the OK Senior Journal Also able to leave current issue as a distribution point

March 31, 2011 - Picasso's Grille in the Paseo District, OKC, 6pm-9pm, Dr. Edward Shadid's campaining rally (Ward 2), handed out OSJ at rally, including city figure heads such as Andrew Rice, attendee. (OSJ was the only publication allowed at this event.)

April 7, 2011 - Oklahoma Metro Psychology Clinic called for the OSJ to be deliverd so they could hand them out as reference resource guides at all of the clinic's group sessions in SW OKC.

April 7, 2011 - The Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality at the Skin and Health Fair, 9am-4pm, Moore/Norman event, the OSJ was asked to come and hand out the current issue at this event.

April 8, 2011 - Informed Senior Seminar event, at OCCC, 8am-12:30pm, the OSJ was an official sponsor of this event and handed out over 250 journals to a captive senior audience.

April 12, 2011 - Dr. Edward Shadid, Ward 2, dowtown OKC municipal building, the OSJ attended Dr. Shadid's swearing-in to office, (yeah!) Standing room only for this occasion, and the OK Senior Journal was the only publication handed out to such figure heads as Mayor Mick Cornett (spelling?), and there were many other state representatives and senators in attendance as well as conscious minded citizens for the betterment of OKC.

April 13, 2011 - MWC Regional Medical Center health fair, 8am-Noon, OSJ was asked to be the exclusive publicaton at this event.

April 27, 2011 - Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality, asked the OSJ to be their official resource magazine at all of their health fair events.

April 27/28, 2011 - OKC Gun Club Classes, 6pm-9pm, OSJ was handed out at the classes.

May 5, 2011 - Jefferson Gardens Retirement, on N Penn Ave, 4:30pm-8pm, the OSJ was asked to come and hand out the current issue at their Cinco de Mayo festival, open to the general public.

May 9, 2011 - Oklahoma State Capital for Senior Daycare Awareness, 1pm-3pm, OSJ was exclulsively handed out at this official state titled event.

The OSJ was incredibly received at the "Informed Senior Seminar" on November 5, 2010 at the OSU-OKC Student Center. The OK Senior Journal was the reference resource for the event and was handed out to the 200 seniors who attended.

The OSJ was personally handed out to those individuals attending the OKC ANNUAL SENIOR FALL FAIR - "A Community Health Fair To Address Fall Prevention" Sponsored by Elite Home Care, October 16, 2010 and the OSJ was the ONLY publication available and handed out at the event!

The OSJ was personally handed out to those individuals attending the TRIAD "Senior" Awareness & Information Fair at North Park Mall at on October 8, 2010. It was a great turn out and the OSJ was the ONLY publication available and handed out at the event!

The OSJ was once again used as a teaching guide for all the students (each student was given a copy of the OSJ) attending the OKC Downtown College, located inside the Downtown Library on October 7, 2010. Teaching the class, Kathy Hollman used the OSJ as a reference
"Senior" resource in the Residential Care for Facilities Administers Certification Program.

The OSJ was available at the Ticket Window for the "Oklahoma Seniors' Cabaret" on October 8, 2010 and again on October 10 in Moore, OK. at the Hillsdale Baptist College Arts Theater. This was a specular, very well attended and talented Performing Arts Event. The OSJ was the only publication available at the the event besides the Events Play List.

Epworth Villa at 14901 N. Pennsylvania Ave. had a huge celebration for their 20th Anniversary on September 13, 2010. The OSJ was on hand handing out the OSJ at the very well attended Grand Lobby kick-off with a huge food bar. music, roses for all the ladies and a special appearance by Will Rogers himself! The OSJ was handed out at the 14th Annual Fundraiser - Prevent Child Abuse Oklahoma at the OKC Golf & Country Club on August 27, 2010. The theme was - Melody Lane: "A Night for Children" Dinner, Live & Silent Auctions and Dancing to Motowns - The Imposters.

We handed out the OSJ for Dr. Edward A. Shadid (He is the OSJ latest issue Front Cover feature) September 8th, 2010 at the Event Center in the Marrott Hotel on N.W. Expressway. The special guest speaker was Ralph Nader and the OSJ was the only Publication handed out to a packed house.

The OSJ was handed out at The Oklahoma Rodeo Opry in Stockyard City, August 13. It was a packed House! The OSJ was the only publication given out that evening. Concert Sponsor was: Big Cedar Lodge from Branson, Mo. Everyone enjoyed a concert by "The Many Voices of Philip Bauer" (Celebrity Impersonator) and the Easy Street Band. The stage was graced by Elvis, Willie Nelson, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Neal Diamond and Johnny Cash!

The OSJ was used as a teaching guide for all the students at the OKC Downtown College held at the OKC Downtown Library on July 15, 2010. The instituter for that day Kathy Hollman handed out the OSJ to all the students as a reference recourse guide to promote the care and information to "Seniors" and Caregivers of "Seniors" The students are getting their certification in: Residential Care for Facilities Administers Certification Program. The OSJ is "The Source" for "Seniors" in Oklahoma!

The OSJ handed out OSJ's June 18, 2010 at the "Heart Link Business Women Network.

The OSJ was a part of the Canterbury Choral Society 2010 Masquerade Ball at Cleopatra's Court. The OSJ was one of the: Sponsored Silent Auction Donations, on June 5 held at the Skirvin Hotel in Downtown OKC. The OSJ also had complementary OSJ's for all the patrons/investors that attended the Canterbury Choral Society event that evening.

The OSJ was handed out at the Fifth Street Missionary Baptist Church at 801 N.E. Fifth Street in OKC on May 9 at the "Woman of God" Special Mother's Day Brunch. Food, Entertainment, Gift Bags, Flowers and a copy of the Newest OSJ, all given out to over 75 Moms and Grandmothers!
